SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transfer of an object to a boundary surface. Method of transferring an object, which is made in the form of an aperture, groove, wiring or reinforcement, to a boundary surface, which is made in the form of a floor, wall or ceiling, by means of equipment having a marking device with a printed field, location device and control device, and at the first stage choose the first object to be marked with the first starting position (EI1) and the first given coordinates (EI1, Er1, EoI, Eor), with dimensions (B1, H1) of the first object is larger than the size of the printed field; in the second stage, using the locating device, the current position (Pakt) of marking device is determined; in the third stage, the control device, based on the current position (Pakt) of marking device, determines the current printing field of the marking device; at the fourth stage, the control device compares the first starting position of the first object with the current printing field of the marking device.

EFFECT: technical result is to develop a method for transferring an object to a boundary surface using a marking device, which is suitable for objects that are larger than the printed field of the marking device.
