SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of moving rolls of a metal strip. Device (1) comprises removal trolley (20) for receiving coil (3) in coiling station (5) and for transporting coil (3) from coiling station (5). Device (1) comprises a coil safety device, which is designed to place securing sling (40) around coil (3) fixed on at least part of the circumference, such that coil (3) is held together by securing sling (40) and is pressed onto removal trolley (20).
EFFECT: easier securing of coils without limiting their diameter.
