FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to building materials and can be used for wall decoration, manufacturing of ceiling and floor coverings, and dividing partitions. In the method, the gypsum-based panel contains a gypsum-based inner layer arranged between two sheets of paper or nonwoven material. Said inner layer contains at least one polymer selected from polyvinyl butyral (PVB), copolymers of vinyl acetate and olefin with a glass transition temperature ranging from -10 °C to +25 °C, terpolymers of vinyl acetate, olefin and vinyl ether, terpolymers of vinyl acetate, vinyl ether and (meth)acrylate, copolymers of vinyl acetate and acrylic monomer.
EFFECT: improved sound insulation properties while maintaining mechanical properties.
