SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plate based on gypsum, having acoustic properties. Such a plate can be used, in particular, for cladding of a wall, ceiling, floor, partition wall. The acoustic plate contains a gypsum core located between two coating layers, and textile material including at least 80 wt.% of fiberglass and an organic binder containing at least one organic polymer. The specified polymer has a temperature of transition to a glassy state from -10 to +25°C, and the mentioned textile material forms a coating layer or layers and/or is embedded in the gypsum core. In this case, fiberglass is individual filaments, a diameter of which is from 5 to 30 mcm, threads containing a set of these glass filaments (basic thread), or a set of basic threads. The group of inventions also relates to the use of a plate for the improvement of sound insulation of buildings and the use of textile material for the improvement of acoustic properties of the plate based on gypsum.
