SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of emulating a terminal system with touch screen control. Messages from each of the specified devices received through the serial port of the interface converter are read. Messages for a given device are recorded through a serial port of an interface converter. Configuring terminal emulators for configured ports. Operations of terminal emulators on registration of terminal control sequences in messages are performed. Perform operations of terminals, which are individual for each display format, by converting messages into messages in selected presentation format. Terminal emulators perform operations on conversion of screen pressures. Performing operations of terminal emulators, individual for each display format for conversion of data entered in terminal window and in command line from virtual keyboard, into messages in selected presentation format. Messages and control sequences of the terminal are sent to the serial port. Data entered in the terminal window and in the command line are converted into control sequences. Displaying received and sent messages in the terminal windows is generated and displaying messages entered in the command line for the selected display format.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling display of received and sent data in a terminal.
