SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data transmission control, specifically to a method and device for transmitting images, improving transmission mode and result of displaying images. Method includes receiving an IP connection request sent by a computer, using locally stored IP address of mobile terminal for sending to mobile terminal an IP connection request, in order to establish IP connection between computer and mobile terminal, and obtaining IP address of computer according to received IP connection request. Further, method includes acquiring screenshot and direction information about screenshot, and sending screenshot and direction information to computer through an IP layer according to received IP address.
EFFECT: simplified IP connection process of a computer and a mobile terminal for transmitting screenshots and direction information related to orientation in space of mobile terminal, due to use of locally stored in computer IP address of mobile terminal through IP layer, that provides compatibility with different physical conditions for establishing a connection.
