FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cathode active material used for fluoride-ion accumulator has stoichiometric composition presented by formula Pb2-xCu1+xF6, where 0≤x<2. Active cathode material is capable of charging and discharging and provides for increase in efficiency of charge-discharge characteristics of accumulator due to increase of discharge capacitance in the first cycle and decrease in the second one, which is the technical result of the invention. Electrolyte included in the electrolytic layer is a liquid electrolyte or a solid electrolyte containing fluoride with an alkaline-earth or lanthanide element.
EFFECT: disclosed is cathode active material used for fluoride-ion battery.
