SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of compressor engineering, in particular to piston compressors. In the method, the system comprises a compressor having a cylinder, comprising a chamber, a first axial end portion and a second axial end portion. Said piston is located in the chamber of the cylinder and is made with the possibility of reciprocating motion along the axis of the cylinder between the first axial end portion and the second axial end portion. This coaxial flow device is connected to the compressor and has a first wall located around the first passage along the axis. Further, the second passage is located around the first wall along the axis. And the second wall is located around the second passage along the axis. Said first passage contains a first axial opening communicating with the chamber when the piston is moved in the first axial direction. Said second passage contains a second axial opening communicating with the chamber when the piston is moved in the second axial direction, opposite to the first axial direction.
EFFECT: coaxial flow device increases the efficiency of the compressor system.
