FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of machine building. Flywheel made of composite material contains solid or with the central hole disk. Disk is made of arranged along loop-shaped curves and fastened with the polymer binder unidirectional reinforcing threads or strands. On its outer contour the disk is equipped with a rim of circumferential reinforcing threads. Connecting transitions from the rim to the disk and back are made with the continuous spiral formation. Spiral consists of the rim circle alternating arcs and the disk loop-shaped curves. All together the threads are bonded by the thermoplastic polymer binder. Flywheel manufacturing method involves the rim formation by the circumferentially impregnated polymeric binder reinforcing threads or strands. Forming the supporting-connecting element in the form of disks or star-shaped spokes with central holes. Impregnating the threads with the thermoplastic polymer binder and laying out with the 3D printer. Placing the workpiece into the mold and heat treating under pressure until the monolithic flywheel formation.

EFFECT: enabling increase in the specific mass and volumetric energy intensities.
