FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to potentiometric methods for quantitative determination of substances (ionometry) and can be used for non-destructive testing and automatic control of lidocaine in aqueous solutions. Disclosed is a membrane of an ion-selective electrode for determining lidocaine, comprising a polymer matrix, a plasticiser and an electroactive component, wherein the polymer matrix used is polyvinyl chloride, and as a plasticiser used dibutyl phthalate, characterized by that as an electrode-active component used hydrodioctodecylsulphanil – clozo-decaborate lidocaine LidH+[B10H9S(C18H37)2] with content of components: polyvinyl chloride – 28–33 wt%, dibutyl phthalate – 64–71 wt%, electrode-active component – 1–3 wt%.
EFFECT: invention improves electroanalytical characteristics of the lidocaine-selective electrode by widening the region of linear response of the electrode, improving the limit of detecting lidocaine and increasing the angular inclination of the electrode characteristic.
