FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the UHF measuring equipment, particularly to the SHF two-terminal elements parameters measurements. Microwave two-terminal element complex reflection coefficient determining method comprises the probing harmonic microwave oscillation excitation in the transmission line, reference microwave oscillation generation of the same frequency as the probing signal, and the signal parameters measuring, branched from the transmission line by means of omnidirectional movable probe during connection of microwave two-terminal element to the transmission line output. At that, additionally performing branched by the non-directed mobile probe signal quadrature detection using the generated reference oscillation, as a result of which obtaining the I and Q components, using which calculating the amplitude and phase field distribution along transmission line by formulas where l is the distance from the load connection plane to the movable probe, for each of the distributions, calculating the SHF two-terminal element modulus complex reflection factor argument estimations, and the results are determined as these estimates arithmetical mean.
EFFECT: disclosed is the microwave two-terminal element complex reflection coefficient determining method.
