FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulsed neutron flux generation device. Device is provided with a pulse voltage source connected to two identical diodes for acceleration of protons placed inside the working vacuum volume opposite to each other, electrodes of which are sectors of a partially transparent sphere connected by certain ratios. Both diodes have common axis of symmetry with magnetic trap, covering it, and between each anode and magnetic trap in symmetry to its center there are two identical focusing coils with specified inductance and geometry, connected to current pulse generator. Device start-up and synchronization unit is connected to the high-voltage and current pulses generators. Both focusing coils can be placed in shells of insulating material, on the surface of which there are isolated inserts from metal with high electron emission factor. Transparent anodes can be saturated with hydrogen from their inner surfaces.
EFFECT: technical result is increase of efficiency of pulse generator of thermonuclear neutrons and consumption of heavy hydrogen nuclides and improvement of conditions for compensation of space charge of accelerated protons.
