FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seal arrangement (1) for sealing a radial gap between inner component (3) and outer component (4) that is coaxially mounted around the inner component, whereby the inner component is rotational about rotation axis (a). Said arrangement comprises a radial seal that is mounted in connection with the inner component, whereby the radial seal has sealing lip (6), which bears against counter-face (10) formed by a radially inner surface of the outer component or of sleeve element (7) that is mounted to the outer component. When the seal arrangement is stationary, the sealing lip bears against the counter-face with an initial lip force. Said sealing lip (6) is pivotably arranged in a radial cross section around pivot point (8) and is in connection with a counterweight. Said sealing lip and the counterweight are arranged in different axial regions from the pivot point, and are adapted such that during rotation of the radial seal, a greater centrifugal force acts on counterweight (9) than on sealing lip (6).
EFFECT: seal is particularly suitable for high-speed applications.
