FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing device (1) for sealing a radial gap between mutually rotating inner and outer components, whereby inner component (3) is rotatable around axis (a) of rotation, and outer component (4) is placed coaxially around inner component (3). Said sealing device comprises: dynamic part (12) of the seal, which is adapted to be mounted on inner component (3); static part (10) of the seal, which is adapted to be mounted on outer component (4); and first and second labyrinth seals (5, 6), each of which is formed by a gap between at least one set of opposite surfaces on the static and dynamic parts of the seal. Sealing device (1) further comprises lip seal (7), which is positioned radially between first labyrinth seal (5) and second labyrinth seal (6). Lip seal (7) contains sealing lip (8) which is connected to dynamic part (12) of the seal and which abuts against a radially oriented opposite surface on the static part of the seal. In addition, sealing cuff (8) has in the radial cross section longitudinal continuation (L), which extends towards axis (a) of rotation at angle (α) ranging from 10 to 80°.
EFFECT: invention provides sealing efficiency under static conditions.
