SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite housing for the low pressure compressor of an axial-flow turbo-machine. In the method, the technical result is achieved by manufacturing a composite housing of an axial-flow turbo-machine. Moreover, the housing contains a circular wall and a fixing flange, with which this wall forms an acute angle between the edges. This method includes providing a mold with an angle configured to form an angle between the edges of the housing; placing the profile section of the filled thermoplastic resin along the specified angle of the mold; placing fiber reinforcement in the mold tightly pressed to the profile section; closing the mold; polymerization of the resin injected into the mold; removing the housing from the mold.
EFFECT: simplifying the manufacture of the composite housing and the reinforcement of the composite housing as close to the corner as possible for increased strength.
