SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing turbo machine housing of composite material containing fibrous reinforcement, compacted with a base, includes operation, on which a protective layer against galvanic corrosion is made on the basis of a glass fiber cord, a glass fiber tape or a glass fiber spiral to form a semi-rigid protective layer against galvanic corrosion. Then, the protective layer against galvanic corrosion is placed to a mandrel, the profile of which corresponds to the profile of the manufactured housing, containing an annular radial cheek, by applying the protective layer on the annular radial cheek of the mandrel. Form the fibrous reinforcement on the mandrel, covering the protective layer against galvanic corrosion, and compact the fibrous reinforcement by the base. Another invention of the group refers to the housing of the turbo machine of composite material manufactured in the way described above and includes a cylindrical body, a flange, located radially relative to the longitudinal axis from the free end of the body, and the protective layer against galvanic corrosion. The protective layer against galvanic corrosion comprises glass fibers and is located along the radial surface of the annular flange, the radial surface extends along the inner wall of the main body.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to protect the housing against galvanic corrosion, and simplify the machining of its flange through the implementation of protective layer on the flanges and use it as a removable allowance.
