FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in various means of relay protection, emergency control of power systems, measurement, recording of emergency events, diagnosing of equipment state, control of stationary modes. Method for filtering magnetization current and reproducing secondary currents of a multi-winding transformer includes forming a system of nonlinear equations, which reflect real electromagnetic physical processes in the transformer, selection of measuring transducers for connection to a power system and for arrangement of a closed computing system operating in real time, at the output of which voltages are formed proportional to the magnetization current and reproduced secondary currents taking into account the transformer connection diagram, output data are visualized in analogue or digital form, and the computational process is additionally controlled by monitoring tracking errors.

EFFECT: reduced error of filtration of magnetization current and reproduction of secondary currents in transient and steady-state modes due to implementation of magnetization characteristics of transformers with hysteresis, expansion of functional capabilities for practical use and research purposes with different directivity.
