FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an instrument of aircraft engine monitoring system validation, a monitoring system and a monitoring system validation method. Validation instrument contains test means (13), processing means (11), analysis means (12) adapted to evaluate the validation of the monitoring system. System for monitoring an aircraft engine assembly comprises at least one validation instrument and is configured to receive surveillance data and output a diagnostic result of the condition of said unit. Validation method consists in performing tests to assess validation of monitoring system, wherein collecting observation data related to aircraft engine assembly, calculating current value of quality factor on current amount of observation data, estimating probabilistic reliability, estimating minimum amount of observation data to achieve preset reliability criterion.
EFFECT: reduced time of data processing and increased reliability of monitoring system.
