FIELD: aircrafts; hydraulic units.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for monitoring the service life of at least one hydraulic unit of an aircraft subjected to hydraulic pressure drops during flight that has an interface for receiving measurement data characteristic of the hydraulic pressure (P). According to the invention, the device comprises a processing device containing means for detecting the destructive effect (SOLLEND) of the pressure (P), determined by the fact that the pressure (P) includes an increase (ΔPAUG) pressure exceeding a certain threshold (SΔP) damage, followed by a decrease (ΔPDIM) pressure exceeding the threshold (SΔ), a means of calculating the amplitude of the pressure drop equal to the maximum rise (ΔPAUG) and reductions (ΔPDIM), means for projecting the amplitude onto a decreasing curve or straight line of the damage model to determine the allowable number of impacts corresponding to the amplitude, means for calculating the damage potential factor equal to the reference number of impacts divided by the calculated allowable number, means for incrementing the cumulative coefficient count counter on the coefficient.
