SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle diagnostic systems. Vehicle diagnostic tool comprises a controller. Controller is configured to output to a loudspeaker an audio signal output from the antenna signal, demodulated at a frequency in a predetermined range corresponding to electromagnetic emissions caused by an unbalanced differential signal channel, and force the vehicle controller to operate the differential signal channel for alternation between signal activity periods and signal inactivity periods, causing corresponding audio characteristics in the audio signal.

EFFECT: higher safety of vehicles.
