SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of tamper-evident devices for container closures, in particular for container closure plugs. Tamper-evident cap (2) for engagement with container closure plug (100) comprises panel (10) having a side facing the container closure plug and a pre-weakened area defining tear strip (17), wherein said tear strip has a tear strip pin (30), extending from the side facing the closure cap, and made for receipt of the container closure plug, side wall (12) extending from the side facing the closure cap, and central support( 20) extending axially from a central region of the panel, however, the central support is made to engage the container closure plug, while the central support has a pre-weakened area of the panel.
EFFECT: tamper-evident cap is proposed.
