FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for treating purulent wounds. For this, in phase I wound surface is covered with "Aquacel Ag Hydrofiber Dressing" and "Aquacel Ag Foam Hydrofiber Dressing" bandage with antimicrobial, absorption properties, and wound sections in II or III phase are covered with Granuflex hydro-colloidal dressings. Dressings are changed 1–2 days after wound treatment with chlorhexidine bigluconate 0.02 %, wherein during wound cleaning, performing its granulation tissue and the appearance of edge epithelialisation, the latter is sutured.

EFFECT: method enables fast wound change into the repair and epithelisation stage, prevents the onset of persistent infection and accelerates recovery of the patient due to differentiated use of the wound coatings depending on the wound process phase while maintaining the optimal wound environment, absence of pain, traumatisation of underlying tissues and complete congruency of the dressings with wound surface.
