FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to methods of measuring torque on shafts rotating relative to fixed base. Method comprises placing measuring wheels with angular marks on it and measurement of time of their passage relative to fixed sensors. Second measuring wheel is fixed on the section of the same shaft with displacement relative to the first one in the direction of the longitudinal axis. Fixed marks time passage of marks relative to each of sensors. Rotary moment on the shaft is determined from change of time between passage of marks relative to each of sensors, according to mathematical dependence.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of method implementation.
