SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular, to main part of air distributor of brake system. Main part of air distributor includes spring-loaded movable partition arranged in housing, made in form of fixed in housing resilient diaphragm in form of disk with central hole and working area, fixed between two rigidly connected pressure discs, hermetically separating main and spool chambers, plunger interacting with spring-loaded moving baffle and pusher resting on brake line additional discharge valve. Gap formed by the case of the main part and clamping disks in one of extreme positions of the movable baffle is selected as minimum, sufficient for provision of free axial movement of the movable baffle in working cavity of the main part. Radius of surface rounding of each pressure disc interacting with surface of working area of diaphragm is provided with provision of maximum area of contact of surface of working area of diaphragm with disc.
