FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed technical solution relates to lighting engineering, namely to lighting devices based on light-emitting diodes. Technical result is achieved due to LED lamp with convection cooling, containing casing, covering heat removal element, on one side of which there is control board connected to power supply unit, on the opposite side there is a LED module, wherein said heat removal element is made in the form of a housing of heat-conducting material, on the side of which there are through air ducts, made in the form of longitudinal channels with slots on the surface of the LED module, which are made along the entire length of the heat removal element, and a cover with a window fixed on the casing by means of fixing means.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat removal and increased service life of the luminaire.
