SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of monitoring the technical state of POS terminals. System for monitoring the technical state of a network of POS terminals, comprising a plurality of POS terminals, joined by a data network with a transaction processing system, client computing devices and a data storage subsystem, which is designed to store data in structures, aimed at making decisions in terms of providing the technical state of POS terminals; subsystem of data collection, processing and loading, which is intended for implementation of processes of data collection from sources systems, processing of specified data for conversion into view required for filling data storage subsystem, wherein data from source systems represent at least POS terminal parameters, terminal transaction activity and communication channel type of terminal with transaction processing system; a data monitoring subsystem designed to monitor the technical state of at least POS terminals and associated network nodes, which enable to transmit data from said terminals, as well as generate signals in response to change in the operation of POS terminals; reporting generation and visualization subsystem, which is designed to generate business-oriented data showcases and reporting; user authentication subsystem, which is intended for authorization of system users and restriction of access rights.

EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting technical failures in a network and providing rapid response to their occurrence to reduce the time of recovery of POS terminals.
