FIELD: computing technology.

SUBSTANCE: claimed technical result is achieved due to a computer-implemented method for analysing the financial activity of a sales outlet (SO), executed by at least one processor and containing the stages of: obtaining the data of transaction flows of POS terminals located in the SO, on the basis whereof a key is generated, and the data of the geographical area and the merchant's classification code (MCC) of the POS terminals; identifying the SOs in said geographical area and groups of POS terminals; comparing the data on the location address of the POS terminals with the data of the generated keys of POS terminals; identifying POS terminals with identical keys and different data on the location addresses thereof; assigning the identified POS terminals to a single SO and recording the information on attribution of the POS terminals to the determined SO in the server database.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the attribution of POS terminals to sales outlets by binding groups of POS terminals within a single sales outlet.
