FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical industry and industrial ecology, namely to a device for cutting used electrical batteries and accumulators. Device for cutting waste electric batteries and accumulators comprises guides fixed on base, roller, cutting tool, drive and reduction gear, as well as hopper for sorted electric batteries and storage batteries, feeding tray and removable bin for cut electric batteries and accumulators. Guide is made in the form of pipe with internal section corresponding to cross section of housing of electric batteries and accumulators. Guide is made with a longitudinal slot for input inside the end of the roller, which provides their forced movement towards the cutting tool. Cutting tool is arranged in through groove made at guide end. Guide is fixed on base with possibility of movement and fixation.
EFFECT: invention enables to cut metal housing of waste electric batteries and accumulators.
