FIELD: waste processing and disposal.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of complex recycling of technogenic raw materials, namely spent chemical sources of current of manganese-zinc system. Spent current sources containing zinc and manganese are crushed into pieces. Obtained pieces are heated with their simultaneous mixing in rotary inclined furnace to achieve temperature of 950–1200 °C to form liquid, solid and gas phases from the pieces. At that, gas phase is separated from solid phase and liquid phase. Separated gas phase is cooled to provide zinc condensation therefrom, after which solid and liquid phases containing manganese are heated to temperature of 1200–1400 °C with ensures reduction of manganese and formation of gas phase, which is cooled with condensation of zinc from it. Obtained manganese is cooled.
EFFECT: method allows extending the range of products for this purpose.
