SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the socket wrenches with the internal cone for fasteners with the truncated cone surface and with vertical edges. Wrench contains a cylindrical rod with a cylindrical shank and a head, made of a stepped cylindrical shape and with formed on the head end surface side internal cavity. Shank is made with a hole perpendicular to the wrench vertical axis. Head internal cavity side surface is made in the form of a truncated cone with a stepwise transition into the smaller diameter cylindrical surface, at that, the head internal cavity diameter D from its end face surface and the truncated cone height H are in the following relationship: D/H=1.8…2.3, where D is the of the of the head internal cavity diameter on its end face side surface, H is the truncated cone height. On the head outer side surface side, at least two U-shaped in plane longitudinal through-grooves are made, mated with the head end face surface and symmetrical with respect to the wrench vertical axis.
