FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: energy recovery and regeneration system comprises a pyroelectric energy recovery module (ERM) that generates a voltage in response to a temperature change, a coolant line in fluid communication with a coolant source to receive a coolant, valve for adjusting the flow rate of the coolant, an energy storage module for accumulating and storing voltage. Surface of the pyroelectric ERM, formed directly opposite the heated solid surface, receives heat.
EFFECT: additional electrical energy is generated.
