SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power units of vehicles. Working machine, particularly in form of truck or lorry, comprises diesel-electric traction drive, front and rear wheels, electric motors for driving rear wheels, dump body, internal combustion engine, alternating current generator connected to electric motors and driven by internal combustion engine, excitation winding integrated into alternator, excitation circuit for supplying with excitation winding current, power supply line connected to excitation circuit to control excitation voltage, voltage source connected to power line, manual disconnected switch, power electronics and distribution box for low-voltage circuits. Switch is configured to interrupt generation of current by generator with operating internal combustion engine by interrupting excitation circuit. Power electronics is configured to control or adjust electric motors and alternator, wherein excitation circuit is connected to power electronics via power supply line.

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of simple and safe separation of current generation circuit during maintenance.
