SUBSTANCE: invention relates to worm propellers. Screw propulsion unit comprises a hollow cylindrical rotor with a helical ridge, equipped with a rotation mechanism, and a swivel head. Swivel head, axis of rotation of which crosses axis of rotation of cylindrical rotor at right angle, is made in form of ball-shaped wheel, which is a trunnion with lantern wheels, on the cogs of which are mounted with bends along the pneumatic chamber diameter, filled with air or gas.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of screw propulsor usage.
