SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the screw propulsion unit. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Rotor with screw crest is made in the form of system of wheels, each of axes of rotation of which is located in plane normal to screw line of propulsor, and is inclined at angle to binormal of screw line of propulsor. Wheels can be pneumatic.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of screw propulsors for wheelchairs.
