SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw propulsion units. Screw propulsion unit comprises a cylindrical rotor with a helical ridge, equipped with a rotation mechanism, and a swivel head. Swivel head in the form of a spherical elastic wheel is a pin made in one piece with a system of meridional plates crossing the equatorial plane of the wheel with a step of 10°.
EFFECT: it is possible to expand the functionality of the screw propulsion when moving on hard surfaces.
