FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of quality control of fuel and can be used for determination of turbidity of diesel fuels. Method consists in that analysed sample is introduced into measuring cell, placed in cryostatted chamber, in which sample is preheated, and then subjected to at least five cycles of "cooling-heating", maintaining in each cycle a different rate of temperature change and recording for each cycle "cooling-heating" curve of dependence, showing change of specific heat flow coming from sample during its cooling and obtained by sample at its heating, as a function of temperature, on each of which the crystallisation beginning temperature (TbcVi) of the analysed sample, pour point (TpVi) and melting point of solid phase melting (TmpVi). In addition, graphic dependences of variation of TbcVi and TmpVi of cooling-heating rates (Vi), extending the lines of obtained dependences to points of intersection with the ordinate axis, and half the sum of the ordinates of these points is taken as the turbidity temperature (Ttur) of the analysed sample.
EFFECT: high reliability of estimating turbidity temperature of diesel fuels.
