FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering and specifically to a fuel consumption control system. System for combined control of fuel consumption for rocket propulsion system includes sensors of second fuel consumption: oxidizer and fuel, connected through amplifying-conversion device with on-board central computer, made with possibility to supply control signal to control unit of throttles drives, and fiber-optic level gauges connected with onboard central computer. At that, fiber-optic level gauges contain cylindrical pipe with distributed sensor located in it and communicating with controlled fuel tank, wherein the distributed sensor consists of an optical fiber, an optical reflectometer and an actuating element – a float of magnetic material, inside which three rollers are installed.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of determining level of fuel components in tanks of carrier rocket, which increases power characteristics of propulsion system of carrier rocket.
