FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photocatalysis based on the ability of catalyser to be activated by light or ultraviolet radiation and to accelerate various reactions. Photocatalytic reactor comprises housing with branch pipes supplying cleaned water 2 and output of resulting products 5, 6, in which one or more lamps 8 and contaminants dispersing elements 9, 13 are placed, water supply branch pipe 2 is connected to the housing by the hydrocyclone type at a tangent to its internal cylindrical surface with a conical surface adjoining it, at that, the diameter of the cylindrical surface is approximately 5 times larger than the diameter of the supply branch pipe, section of which profile in the zone of abutment to the housing by height and width corresponds to approximately 3:1, conical part of the housing is directed upwards and in the center of lower cover 7 closing the lower cylindrical section of the conical housing, there is a quartz tube with ultraviolet lamp 8 placed in it, length of quartz tube with lamp provides liquid passage area between it and walls of conical surface of housing not less than cross-section area of supply branch pipe, on the conical part of the housing there are cascades of dispersers 9, which are two rows of holes 10, which are tapped on perimeters of two levels, wherein end face of cone coincides with plane of flange 12 connected to it, to which coaxially to outlet hole of cone disperser is attached in form of cylindrical cap 13, which bottom is made of plate, and connected with flange 12 of cap wall – from coiled into tube mesh, wherein to flange 12 there is also attached an upper cylindrical part of the reactor housing in the form of pipe 4 with a mirror inner surface, in the center of which there is a quartz tube with lamp 8 fixed on the pipe cover through insert-extension 15, and above the quartz tube on the wall of the pipe there is a branch pipe for discharging water 5, and the branch pipe for discharge of gaseous fraction 6 is arranged vertically on the upper cover of the pipe, in lower part of pipe 4 there is a screen in the form of overturned truncated cone 16 with diameter of cone base equal to diameter of pipe, and hole of truncated cone vertex provides free putting of screen 16 on cap 13 and abutment of screen 16 to flange 12.
EFFECT: possibility of high-quality water treatment from organic and bactericidal contaminants with high rate of continuous process implementation due to its activation by means of special arrangement of flows of water pumped through the reactor and dispersion of contaminants contained therein; photocatalytic reactor has a simple and technologically efficient structure.
