FIELD: purification of water. SUBSTANCE: water purification unit has mechanical water purification block, chemical water purification block, biological water purification block. Blocks may work independently or in various combinations. Mechanical water purification block is connected with chemical water purification block via branch pipe with annular C-shaped coupling. Annular resilient coupling rigidly fixed within C-shaped coupling is communicated with pneumatic conduit and compressed air supply source. Chemical water purification block is formed by concentrically positioned cylinders. Stops are secured on outer surface of one cylinder for switching off end switch and annular guides are adapted for engagement with supporting drive and supporting driven conical rollers. Rollers are rigidly coupled with shaft connected with reducer, which provides connection with electric engine. Casings with divider walls are positioned between cylinders. Cartridges with adsorbent are positioned behind casings at their both sides. Casing ends are closed with covers. Water inlet and water outlet branch pipes are secured centrally of covers. C- shaped half-couplings fixed on branch pipe ends are faced one towards the other for engagement with annular coupling. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 9 dwg
