FIELD: processing of liquid media. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises casing with inlet and outlet pipes. Installed vertically inside the casing is a perforated distributing pipe, plate, liquid layer thickness former, and liquid mixer. The distributing pipe and liquid mixer are made as a hollow shaft with blades at the end. The liquid layer thickness former consists of two coaxial discs with adjustable clearance therebetween. The lower disc is made integral with hollow shaft and is a continuation of its blades. The upper disc of quartz glass is disposed under a chamber with a radiation source. The chamber base area is comparable with the area of the upper disc. Washers of preset thickness are installed between the discs. The casing is made up of two parts, a revolving upper part and a stationary lower one. The distributing plate has the form of an impeller with curvilinear blades and is installed rigidly of lower part the casing. Radiation source cooling means is made as a fan installed on the hollow shaft under the chamber with the radiation source. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 3 dwg
