FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, which uses sampling from gas mixture – air. Method of cryogenic sampling of gas mixture consists in that air is liquefied in internal cavities of heat exchanger by cooling external surface of heat exchanger with cryogenic liquid having a boiling point property not exceeding 77.36 K at normal pressure of atmosphere at zero height, and stored in a reservoir in the form of a liquid sample, characterized in that prior to the onset of the contact of the cryogenic liquid with the external surfaces of the heat exchanger, its inner cavities and the reservoir tank are filled with an inert gas or a mixture of inert gases with a boiling point property higher than the boiling point of the extracted gas mixture, under pressure, which exceeds pressure of gas mixture at sampling point.
EFFECT: reduced inertia of a cryogenic system intended for sampling a gas mixture – air, and high reliability of the sampled gas mixture (air).
