FIELD: filtration.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an air purifier for removing air pollutants from an air stream. Air cleaner comprises filtering device including at least one filtering layer retained by filter holder (5) in said air flow substantially perpendicular to main direction of flow. Filtering layer preferably comprises rod-shaped filter elements (6) located next to each other, wherein said filter holder (5) comprises retaining element (9), to which all filtration elements of the filtering layer are rigidly attached. Retaining element (9) passes perpendicularly or diagonally to filtering elements (6) through filtering layer in the above air flow. Holder (5) of filter, containing said retaining element (9), is made integral with said filtering elements (6) in form of single part of identical material.
EFFECT: technical result is efficient removal of air pollutants and device compactness.
