SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used on production lines for production of steel tubes of maximum length of large diameter welded by submerged arc welding. Steel pipe is directed into the pre-flushing device; then, by means of the moving bogie, the steel pipe is flared in the pipe expansion device. After flaring of one side by means of the bogie which is moving transversally to the flaring, the pipe is supplied to the flaring device for expansion of the second pipe part.
