METHOD FOR ASSESSING OF INTESTINAL MICROBIOTA STATE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/49

Abstract RU 2685553 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for assessing intestinal microbiota. That is ensured by taking a blood sample. Blood is centrifuged at 1,500 rpm for 15 minutes. Thereafter, 2 samples are applied on the Sorbphil PTSH-AH-V-UV plate: 0.1 mcl of blood plasma and 1.0 mcl of a standard mixture of deconjugated bile acids. Then the plate is placed into a chamber with concentrated acetic acid. At the end of elution, the plate is removed and ventilated for 20 minutes at 100 °C. Treatment is carried out with aqueous aerosol and maintained until white spots appear on the transparent background of the plate. Deconjugated bile acids in the sample are identified by the length of run of the sample spot compared to the length of the spot of the standard mixture. Contours of spots are described and their areas are calculated, by values of which quantitative content of deconjugated bile acids is established. If their value is equal to and less than 15.8±1.56 ng/l, state of intestinal microbiota is balanced.

EFFECT: method enables determining the excessive growth of pathogenic microflora and assessing the state of intestinal microbiocenosis.
