FIELD: machine building; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deformation-thermal processing of titanium-nickel alloys with shape memory effect and can be used in machine building, medicine and engineering. Method of obtaining long-length bars of ultra-fine titanium-nickel alloys with shape memory effect includes thermomechanical treatment of titanium-nickel alloys bars, which combines intense plastic deformation, plastic deformation and annealing. Intense plastic deformation is carried out by continuous equal-channel angular pressing with accumulated degree of deformation of more than 6 in temperature ranges of 200–299 °C and 551–600 °C. Plastic deformation is performed by rolling with degree of deformation of not less than 30 % at temperatures of 501–600 °C, and annealing is performed at temperatures of 250–349 °C.
EFFECT: result is obtaining of long-length bars of titanium-nickel alloys with shape memory effect with simultaneously improved mechanical properties and functional characteristics due to creation of ultra-fine structure.
