SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to sheet processing devices. Sheet processing machine comprises a plurality of workstations, a transporting device and a chain tensioner. Proposed conveyor comprises multiple cross bars with grips, first and second side chains and guide device. Chain tensioner for transporting device comprises actuator, movable support, transfer element and rotary element. Transfer element is installed on movable support. Rotary element is rotatable by actuator. Rotary element is able to interact with the transfer element for application of force to the movable support. Rotary element is rotatable in angular range of less than 360 degrees between first extreme angular position and second extreme angular position. Chain tension is minimum for first extreme angular position and maximum for second extreme angular position. Actuator is controlled synchronously with machine angle.
EFFECT: improved chain adjustment; wear is slowed down and service life is increased.
