SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to a device (2) for dropping samples of blanks (P) for a processing machine (1) for processing elements in the form of sheets and also to a waste removal station (600) for a machine (1) for processing elements in the form of sheets and for dropping samples of blanks (P) in a processing machine (1). The processing machine (1) comprises a plurality of operation stations (300, 400, 500, 600) as well as at least one waste removal station (600), a transporting device (70) containing a plurality of rods (75) with grips capable of moving elements in the form of sheets through operation stations (300, 400, 500, 600). The device (2) for dropping comprises at least one actuator element (3) capable of moving between an inactive position in which at least one actuator element (3) is located at a distance from the movement trajectory of the rod (75) with grips and an active position in which at least one actuator element (3) is located on the movement trajectory of the rod (75) with grips, with at least one actuator element (3) being capable of interacting with the rod (75) with grips while passing the rod (75) with grips for opening the rod (75) with grips and flat dropping sample of blanks (P). The station (600) is characterized in that it comprises the above-mentioned device (2) for dropping samples of blanks. EFFECT: set of inventions enables preventing clogging during manufacturing and, consequently, a stop of a machine even when the waste F of a sheet element fall in a vertical, inclined or any other orientation.
