FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing composite material for an active electrode of a supercapacitor (SC) containing a matrix of thermally oxidised polymethyl methacrylate and a filler made from single-layer carbon nanotubes. Method of producing composite material for active electrode SC includes the following stages: dispersion of single-layer carbon nanotubes in acetone in ultrasonic concentrator; mixing the obtained dispersion of single-layer carbon nanotubes with a solution of thermally oxidised polymethyl methacrylate in acetone, followed by removal of acetone by distillation thereof from the obtained dispersion; obtaining a dispersion of a mixture of powders of single-layer carbon nanotubes and polymethyl methacrylate in tetrahydrofuran, followed by addition of N-methylpyrrolidone to the obtained dispersion and mixing the dispersion thereafter.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a composite polymer material with high electrochemical properties.
