FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing water-emulsion materials used in structural layers of road pavements. Method of preparation of emulsion-mineral mixture includes introduction into mixer of components: detached shredded and sand fractions with moisture content W (wt. %) equal to E (50-V)/100, where E is content of bitumen emulsion in mixture (wt. %), B is content of water in bitumen emulsion (wt. %), to which during mixing bitumen emulsion is added and mixed until homogeneous mixture is obtained during 0.5 minutes. Further, mineral powder is added and stirred until homogeneous mixture production for up to 1.5 minutes.

EFFECT: method of preparation is quite simple and in process of realization considerable cost reduction of composition is achieved due to reduction of mixture mixing duration, at reduction of water content in mixture and crushing capacity of crushed stone at compaction, reduction of terms of formation of coating structure, improvement of quality and durability of road pavements made from it.
