FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submersible equipment, namely to downhole filters, in which permeability and carrying capacity decrease when formation water in produced hydrocarbons appears. Device comprises support tube with perforations, multilayer filter element from foam metal and protective perforated casing. Layers of foam metal are arranged in order of reduction of their cell size from outside to inside to layer enveloping perforated pipe. This layer has the largest size of the cell compared to the other layers and is coated with a polymer which swells when in contact with water.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of hydrocarbon production, since elimination of lifting from the well to surface of undesirable water.
